1. It’s officially Girl Scout cookie season. Can we just not talk about how many of these I’ve eaten this week?
2. I’ve said before that I have a heart for orphan care and that I absolutely love following the Compassion Blogger trips (every. single. time.). But during this month’s trip to Uganda, I finally sponsored a child along with my roommate. If you want to hear more and you haven’t already read my post about why I don’t live in Africa, you probably should go read that. But only if you want to. I don’t want to be bossy about it. Grin.
3. I’m headed to IF: Gathering in Austin, TX next week and I am SO excited about it. And a little nervous. But mostly excited. I have almost no idea what to expect. But maybe that’s for the best. All I really know is I am so looking forward to gathering together and focusing on the unity we as women (bloggers or otherwise) have in Christ and letting some of the divisive distractions fall aside as we seek to glorify Him together. Anyone else headed to Austin (or participating in IF: Local), too?
